A method of tangential ultrafiltration was applied for the first time to the production of a cholera bivalent chemical tableted vaccine, namely to the fractionation of the Vibrio cholera 569 Inaba strain cholerogen-anatoxin. The selection of an optimum type of membranes for ultrafiltration was performed. The characteristics of the cholerogen-anatoxin obtained by the developed method were investigated. The use of the method makes it possible to reduce the number of stages in the technological process from 7 to 6 and to decrease the time of the cholerogen-anatoxin isolation from culture liquid and the duration of the whole cycle by 100 h as compared to the existing technology. The losses of the target preparation were also reduced by 25%. The components of the anti-cholera vaccine obtained by the developed method meet the standard requirements.
