The data on the effect of spore-forming bacteria of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens on growth of Fusarium sporotrichioides fungi in vitro and formation of T-2  toxin are represented. The level of the fungicidal activity of B. amyloliquefaciens was determined from changing of the linear growth rate of F. sporotrichioides. The addition of the bacteria cultural liquid considerably reduced this rate; the lethal dose reducing the F. sporotrichioides growth by 50% (LD50) made up 0,09% of culture liquid. The introduction of the B. amyloliquefaciens cultural liquid in a concentration of 1% provided a 95% decrease in the amount of theT-2 toxin in the medium. However, the effective doses of a chemical reference preparation based on DB-tebuconazol were considerably lower than those of the bacterial culture liquid. Nevertheless, the B. amyloliquefaciens strain is perspective for the design of a  biological agent for the control of the Fusarium-caused plant diseases.

Key words:  Bacillus amyloliquefaciens,  bacteria,  fungi,  fungicidal activity,  Fusarium sporotrichioides,  mycotoxin.
