For the first time, a diagnostic test-system for the measurement of drugs of abuse, in particular, cannabinoides, in human urine based on the method of latex agglutination has been constructed. To this end, polysterene microspheres 0,6 μm in diameter having a narrow size distribution and containing carboxylic groups of a stabilizer on their surface were used. The optimal characteristics of the microparticle suspensions that provided high sensitivity and specificity of the test, in particular, the quantitative diapason of antibodies for covalent immobilization on the carboxylic groups located on the microparticle surface were established. The working titer of the antibody specific to Δ-9-TGC was 1/16—1/512, when the content of the conjugated antigen was equal to 0,1 mg/ml. The sensitivity of the suggested reaction made up 150 ng/ml.

Key words:  heterophase polymerization,  latex agglutination,  methods for diagnostics of cannabinoides in human urine,  organosilicon surfactant,  polysterene microspheres,  tetrahydrocannabinol.
